The SS-2 offers much more wind and safety protection than its little brother, the SS-1. It measures 6”(15.2cm) wider at the hands, 1”(2.54cm) higher at the top and 4”(10.16cm) wider at the body. The shield is manufactured out of 0.093 polycarbonate, which is more than 15% thicker than our competition! Thicker polycarbonate means stronger impact protection. Slipstreamer ATV shields feature a new quick-release mounting system that allows for easy removal and mounting for trailering or times when you just don’t want a shield. Once mounted, the shield can be removed and remounted in seconds.
