TITANIUM valves require the use of KPMI Nickel Aluminum Bronze valve seat inserts. Developing KPMI’s premium nickel aluminum bronze alloy valve seats, required a two year R&D commitment. During the course of our research we recorded and verified results with; 4&5 valve singles, domestic and foreign sport compacts, multi-valve and cylinder street bikes as well as British and European 4 Strokes. In every one of our tests the machinability, wear, and thermal-conductivity, surpassed our standard set for success. Given the results of our testing KPMI then developed a production range of seat inserts that could be used for most applications.
