ALUMICORE GRIPS
AlumiCore grips take Harley-Davidson's throttle-by-wire technology and all-day riding comfort to a whole new level. The innovation starts with a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum tube. After precision machining and surface finishing, we install an injection-molded Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) rubber sleeve over each knurled tube for traction and comfort. This highly UV-resistant material is soft and compliant - even with bare hands - yet extremely durable. The TBW gear interface inside the right-side AlumiCore grip is forged aluminum - not a cheap piece of glued and screwed plastic - so it will never break. The clutch grip's end cap features an internal wedge system that expands inside the handlebar to eliminate grip slip and end play.
